David Weisenfeld, Esq.,
Editor-in-Chief, is an attorney who has covered the U.S. Supreme Court since 1998, and brings more than 12 years of legal journalism experience to the role.  He also co-anchors all of our newscasts and supervises programming content.

He has reported on several high-profile Supreme Court cases in recent years, including landmark decisions involving affirmative action, sexual harassment, the First Amendment and Internet pornography.  In addition, he is the founder of the LAWCAST^® Supreme Court Report. 

A true “generalist,” David also has analyzed a host of thorny, cutting-edge legal issues while serving as editor of our highly-popular employment and labor law and intellectual property law editions.

David has been honored by the New Jersey Society of Professional Journalists for his work.  He has appeared on Comcast’s CN-8 show, “It’s Your Call with Lynn Doyle,” to discuss the Supreme Court, and has lectured about the Court at the College of New Jersey, the Syracuse University College of Law and Rowan University.  He also has written about the Supreme Court for the Employee Rights Quarterly. His other past journalism credits include work at Court TV, USA Today and The Washington Times.

David graduated with honors from Washington University in St. Louis in 1991, and earned his law degree from the Syracuse University.
